Uganda Joining Forces Coalition Report, 2025

The goal of the Joining Forces Coalition (JFC) remains, the strengthening of prevention and response systems that protect children from violence in Uganda. This Coalition’s goal feeds into the missions of respective 7-member organizations. Last year, Coalition members set up to bring new collective energy to the Ugandan national child protection sub-sector through the Coalition Strategy 2025-27. This strategic action strengthened the shared agreement on the focus areas that would achieve shared goals for the next 3 years. More specifically, members agreed to;

  • Contribute to an enabling environment that supports meaningful child participation
  • Contribute to increased allocation of resources to implementation of child protection related policies and strategies
  • Contribute to industry wide evidence and knowledge base on child protection • Respond to situations of protracted VAC through joint programs on Eliminating VAC in schools and Ending Child Labor in Coffee Value Chain.
